Booth-sitting for FM Kaskus at Paramore Festival which is located at Pantai Indah Ancol, Jakarta Utara. It was a concert before the Paramore concert in August. What's in it? Well got several booths some selling Paramore stuffs and some bands covering Paramore songs. Got there in the afternoon and although not so crowded, the crowds were pretty nice, especially when singing together to Paramore songs.

Was there at Kampung Bambu Kuning, Marunda, Cilincing, for Philips' CSR venue. It was like soooo far away in the north side of Jakarta. We had to stop the car a bit far away cause the road is very small that only motorcycle could go through it.

The sun was up in the sky and the land was dominated by sea waters for growing Bandengs and Shrimps. It was ubbbeeerrr hot even low temp from the AC couldn't help at all.

Anyways, throught this CSR programme, every houses there could have some Philips lamps for free. The idea was to promote energy savings by using the lamps given. Uniquely, there's a program too where people and change their used lamps with new Philips' lamps.

Went to Rumah Betawi, a Betawi cuisine restaurant, with my cousins Idut and Gendis . The place is uniquely designed with comic pictures as wallpapers.

However, the most interesting thing that I observed was the back part of the menu. It's got a history of Betawinese food and beverage. One of the so many that caught my attention is this one, The History of Bir Pletok (beer from Betawi).

It said there that Bir Pletok is the drink of Betawi warrior... and... since they had no money to buy the alcohol beer, to fulfill the needs and also style, they created this beer (which got no alcohol at all) from spices lol

The Hypermart Adventure

I was having an urban life adventure in which me and my bestie had to travel from one hypermart to another.

The adventure began in Hypermart, Pejaten Village. I first found out what I want but it wasn't available there. Therefore, we went to Carrefour Pasar Minggu instead. Yet, the thing still not to be found.

After that, we went to another Carrefour - the bigger one. And finally we got it!!!!!! I finally got meself a Wimode USB stick modem. Yyyaaaaaayyy :)

I Scream For Ice Cream

Pizza Hut's new ice cream dessert. There are 4 scoops of Vanilla ice cream there. There are some honeydew slices, whipcream, and mango cream. On top of the ice cream, they put some blueberry jam and a chocolate cracker.

It's pretty good actually. I love how they blend the sweetness of plain vanilla ice cream with the sour blueberry jam and mango cream. Totally add this as one of my fave dessert.

Day 15: Ayam Tulang Lunak Hayam Wuruk

As I told you all before, I'm having a dhiarea soo I must be careful in picking my meal for a while. Therefore, on my home from the shop, I was searching for a safe place to eat. I thought of McD for a moment but when I got to it, I changed my mind cuz I know that if I went there I'd be tempted to have coke float XD

So there I was, in my car thinking when I saw the place, Ayam Tulang Lunak Hayam Wuruk. Fried chicken would be nice, I thought so I stopped my car and went inside. The place is like totally better than the one near Sarinah Thamrin. It was quite cozy actually. I didn't get the chance to eat on the second floor but those sparkling lights seem great.

As for the menu, this piccie represents my dinner tonight. I couldn't help grabbing the sambal though XD

Fried Ikan Tongkol

I have a dhiarea so I must eat decent food at least till it gets better.

Now, the good news is, Daddy bought Tongkol fish the other day. Tongkol fish, or so called Abacore Tuna, is a very popular fish in Indonesia. When you buy it in Tukang Sayur (a vendor who sells veggies but often brings meat, poultry and fish too), he/she usually cuts it to pieces leaving the head to be eaten by cats (at least they do in my neighbourhood XD ).

Neways, after pouring some lemons on the pieces, I cover them up with garlic and salt. Leave it for some minutes, around five to ten would be okay, and then finally, deep fry them until well cooked. The result is like the picture above.

PS: eat them with minced red onion and green chilly which put in a soy sauce.

The Princess and The Frog

Was watching the Princess and the Frog this afternoon and I kinda feel nostalgic. One thing about this film, it reminds of the 2 D films in which I kinda missed. Anyways, here are some things I like bout it.

First things first, the title said it all! Frog Prince! One of my all time fave fairy tales. It has some twists which differentiate it with the classic one but hey, it aint bad at all.

Second, the theme is sooo Disney!!! The story about love can save the day and if you wanna try nothing is impossible is definitely there in the movie. It also got the happy ending kinda thing.

Third, I fell in love with the scores! The setting is somewhere in Louisiana so BLUES all the way! Totally enchanting and mesmerizing!!!

So finally, though there's nothing really special in this film, I sure gonna add this one as my fave Disney movie.

Another Oma's stuff that I still have is this schemerlamp. It used to accompany her in her room. However, it's not as old as the fan though. About 12 to 13 years, I think.

For the past few years, Oma's schemerlamp had traveled from places to places until finally ends up with me again. Now, I put on a yellow bulb to accompany my good sleep.

Among the so many old things in my house, the one I'm still using is this fan. It was my Grandmother's and I think it has been around for around twenty years.

Anyways, despite of the age, the fan sounds like a helicopter. Totally annoying when I'm talking on the phone at night. However, it really helps me going through the heat in my room.

Also, the most interesting part of the helicopterfan is sometimes, I have to wind it first so that it runs smoothly. Otherwise, it runs very slow that not long after it stops ^^; That's also why I don't put the cap on - to make it easier whenever it needs winding XD

mi dokdok

Living in Jakarta would be verrrryyy weird if you're not familiar with "dokdok" chinese food. Why "dokdok"? Well, it's because the sound of the bell when it passes by is pretty much like that XD

Anyways, it was raining and when I arrived at the kost-an, one of the dokdok gerobak is there in front of it. Since it was pretty cold, I figured it'd be so nice to have mi dokdok (hot noodle).

As always, I want it a bit spicy but not too spicy. With more pickles and less kerupuk. Bon Apetit!!!

Me and My Sigi

Meet Sigi a.k.a Si Gitar.

He's been with me since high school. Untill now, Sigi and I have done lots of songs together. I even created my first song, Orenji, with him.

At first, he belonged to my cousin. Later on, when I started a band and decided to learn to play the guitar, I borrowed him. Turned out that years laters, he just gave it away to me :p

Anyways, about the skull sticker called Bones there on the body, I don't even know what that is. My cousin put it there a loooonnngg time ago and I'm too lazy to ask. Recently, I added another sticker, the Clover's watermelon character, in order to cover up some aging damages and to make it more like mine.

I have just bought this one because of the phrase “unique flavour” in its cover which really made me curious lol
