Clover's First Pensi

This is the name tag for Clover's first Pensi (a highschool art festival) gig... Zara couldn't come so we had Pit as the add drummer. As always, nothing too perfect. As the matter of fact, the sound was irritatingly not good.

Stacks of Coins

Day 18:

Well, Daddy's got a new hobby and that's counting coins XD

After some times counting, we have around eight hundred thousand rupiahs.

What to do with them? Just put them all back in the celengan and then count them again another time ^^;

Midnight Tea

Still having bad tummy and totally can't leave the tummy alone without anything to eat. Therefore, I'm having a midnight tea and crackers.

I really love these crackers from Roma so whenever I have a bad stomach, I have them as companion.

Oh btw, I'm also having Belle and Sebastian's The Life Pursuit album played on the CD player. All in all, it's a very nice midnite tea time ^^

Back in My 5th Birthday

Day 16:

Has just found this album of my childhood days... This was from my fifth birthday. As you can see, the menu was Nasi Tumpeng... I wonder if there was any cake then hahahaha

Anyways, the boy beside me is my first bestfriend who also happens to be my cousin. We went to the same school (until high school) and almost had the same extracurricular activity XD Come to think of it, we were quite look alike... Thank Goodness not anymore now hahahaha

Fried Chicken and Rice for the Day

Day 15: Ayam Tulang Lunak Hayam Wuruk

As I told you all before, I'm having a dhiarea soo I must be careful in picking my meal for a while. Therefore, on my home from the shop, I was searching for a safe place to eat. I thought of McD for a moment but when I got to it, I changed my mind cuz I know that if I went there I'd be tempted to have coke float XD

So there I was, in my car thinking when I saw the place, Ayam Tulang Lunak Hayam Wuruk. Fried chicken would be nice, I thought so I stopped my car and went inside. The place is like totally better than the one near Sarinah Thamrin. It was quite cozy actually. I didn't get the chance to eat on the second floor but those sparkling lights seem great.

As for the menu, this piccie represents my dinner tonight. I couldn't help grabbing the sambal though XD

Fried Ikan Tongkol

I have a dhiarea so I must eat decent food at least till it gets better.

Now, the good news is, Daddy bought Tongkol fish the other day. Tongkol fish, or so called Abacore Tuna, is a very popular fish in Indonesia. When you buy it in Tukang Sayur (a vendor who sells veggies but often brings meat, poultry and fish too), he/she usually cuts it to pieces leaving the head to be eaten by cats (at least they do in my neighbourhood XD ).

Neways, after pouring some lemons on the pieces, I cover them up with garlic and salt. Leave it for some minutes, around five to ten would be okay, and then finally, deep fry them until well cooked. The result is like the picture above.

PS: eat them with minced red onion and green chilly which put in a soy sauce.

The Yellow Vintage Dress

Day 13:

A yellow vintage dress.

By vintage, I mean a real one from the 70s. It was my aunt's and then she passed it on to me. However, I don't usually wear it just like that due to some health issues. Soooo I put a cardigans on to cover it.

The Princess and The Frog

Was watching the Princess and the Frog this afternoon and I kinda feel nostalgic. One thing about this film, it reminds of the 2 D films in which I kinda missed. Anyways, here are some things I like bout it.

First things first, the title said it all! Frog Prince! One of my all time fave fairy tales. It has some twists which differentiate it with the classic one but hey, it aint bad at all.

Second, the theme is sooo Disney!!! The story about love can save the day and if you wanna try nothing is impossible is definitely there in the movie. It also got the happy ending kinda thing.

Third, I fell in love with the scores! The setting is somewhere in Louisiana so BLUES all the way! Totally enchanting and mesmerizing!!!

So finally, though there's nothing really special in this film, I sure gonna add this one as my fave Disney movie.

De Schemerlamp Van Oma

Day 11: Oma's Schemerlamp

Another Oma's stuff that I still have is this schemerlamp. It used to accompany her in her room. However, it's not as old as the fan though. About 12 to 13 years, I think.

For the past few years, Oma's schemerlamp had traveled from places to places until finally ends up with me again. Now, I put on a yellow bulb to accompany my good sleep.

Among the so many old things in my house, the one I'm still using is this fan. It was my Grandmother's and I think it has been around for around twenty years.

Anyways, despite of the age, the fan sounds like a helicopter. Totally annoying when I'm talking on the phone at night. However, it really helps me going through the heat in my room.

Also, the most interesting part of the helicopterfan is sometimes, I have to wind it first so that it runs smoothly. Otherwise, it runs very slow that not long after it stops ^^; That's also why I don't put the cap on - to make it easier whenever it needs winding XD

mi dokdok

Living in Jakarta would be verrrryyy weird if you're not familiar with "dokdok" chinese food. Why "dokdok"? Well, it's because the sound of the bell when it passes by is pretty much like that XD

Anyways, it was raining and when I arrived at the kost-an, one of the dokdok gerobak is there in front of it. Since it was pretty cold, I figured it'd be so nice to have mi dokdok (hot noodle).

As always, I want it a bit spicy but not too spicy. With more pickles and less kerupuk. Bon Apetit!!!

Me and My Sigi

Meet Sigi a.k.a Si Gitar.

He's been with me since high school. Untill now, Sigi and I have done lots of songs together. I even created my first song, Orenji, with him.

At first, he belonged to my cousin. Later on, when I started a band and decided to learn to play the guitar, I borrowed him. Turned out that years laters, he just gave it away to me :p

Anyways, about the skull sticker called Bones there on the body, I don't even know what that is. My cousin put it there a loooonnngg time ago and I'm too lazy to ask. Recently, I added another sticker, the Clover's watermelon character, in order to cover up some aging damages and to make it more like mine.

I love you Sigi!!!

Everyone has got his/her own style. Including Vanco.

Talking bout Vanco, I've known him for like almost 10 years now. Back then, he was this Javanese guy with eyeliners and goth style.

Now, as you can all see in the piccie, he dresses up in this kinda style. "Like a designer," said he seriously.

And I was like, yeah Co... seriously... ^^;

This is the stand meter which put on the veranda wall near the garage. It's there so that people can look at it from outside the fence. I always update the numbers on the 14th day of the month to prevent the electricity dude knocking and disturbing my sleep ^^

Guava Juice FTW!!!

Although it's not as good as the real juice (by this I mean by doing the process myself), it's just as refreshing as it is. Oh I love guava juice and talking bout brand, I don't know why I always buy Buavita :)

Rainy season is coming to town at last. Seems like no day without raining nowadays.

Anyways, I don't have to worry about being wet and all cuz I've got this new Union Jack Umbrella from Mr.K.
I think he got this somewhere in Debenhams... Well, wherever that is, I am well protected from the rain now. So, Yayness!!

Tea Time Tia

I have just bought this one because of the phrase “unique flavour” in its cover which really made me curious lol

Now that I have tasted it, it DOES taste unique. Don’t get me wrong because it’s actually good. It kinda reminds me of drinking tea somewhere in a restaurant or street side warongs. Plus, it smells a bit sweet so I think it would be better to have it sugarless. Yummm… :)

once upon a chocolate bar

Chocolate bar is like one of the many things connecting me and my bf. We love eating chocs together* in the mid of the night (no wonder in just about 365 days of our relationship I become a lot plumper ^^; ).

Neways, as for this one, it was a leftover from two days ago. I couldn’t finish it the other night so I decided to just do it now.. In before, taking a picture of it first lol
